Our Recent Frundraising Events
We take pride in serving community members and recently provided the Cashe Bay United 50 club with a membership dinner. We cooked a full Roast Beef dinner, where served and cleaned up. In return, we asked that instead of providing us with payment, a donation would be made to the West Nipissing Food Bank What a success! All enjoyed a great dinner and the food bank received a $500 donation.
When we heard Natasha (West Nipissing community member) hadn’t seen her kids in over two years we wanted to help her fundraise. By organizing a Spaghetti Dinner, music performance for a dance, bake sale and salient auction. (All expenses were covered by donations) We were able to raise $2300 to give this family some assistance!
The Verner Ram Rodeo provided an excellent opportunity for the Padre’s Angels to coordinate our efforts to fundraise for the West Nipissing Food Bank. Our very own Angel - The Cookie Lady - provided fresh baked cookies, we partnered with local stores to assist in collecting non-perishable food items, received donations from businesses who wanted to contribute and on the day of the big event the community responded with cash donations for cookies. $600 and several boxes of items were donated to the food bank!
